Husnia Yousuf is the winner of the NMLL “On the Way to Health” photography competition. NMLL students were invited to submit a photo along with a written caption that highlighted what was important to living a healthy life. The feature of Husnia’s photo was clean drinking water and she said about her photo “I like to drink water and use it in my fresh vegetable community garden”.
Other entrants took photos of trees, community spaces, food trees/plants, exercise equipment, playgrounds and parks as important features of living a healthy life. Entrants spoke of taking care of their mind as well as their body as important to health.
Thank you to Officeworks (Travancore) and North Melbourne Community Centre for the donation of prizes for competition winners.
All competition entries will be displayed at NMLL until 28 March and entries posted on the NMLL website.
